It is agreed between Seller and Buyer as follows:

LITTER REG#:
1. The puppy will be sold with limited registration unless other written arrangements have been made with the seller. The puppy must be spayed/neutered by 12 months of age.
2. The buyer must include kennel name (Stockman’s) in the dog's registered name;
In example: Stockman’s (kennel name) Pride and Joy (your name of choice). Registered name being Stockman’s Pride and Joy.3. The buyer is required to have the puppy examined by a veterinarian within three days of purchase (72 hours). : Seller guarantees that puppy/dog is free of life threatening diseases or disabilities (i.e., heart murmurs, parvo, etc..) If the veterinarian finds the puppy unhealthy, the puppy must be returned to the breeder, at the buyer's expense, within seven days with written documentation from the veterinarian stating the results of the examination to qualify for a refund or exchange.
4. Hip Guarantee: Any dog found to have crippling hip dysplasia requiring the dog to be euthanized before 26 months of age will be replaced with another puppy or refund of equal or greater value upon documentation of their disorder by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals(OFA). Written documentation from the veterinarian stating the dog was euthanized reasoning why needs to be sent to seller. Please be aware that as a new puppy owner you share in the responsibility to help prevent hip dysplasia, as it has been proven to be part hereditary and part environmental. The puppy should be fed a nutritionally complete dog food.
5. To qualify for a replacement puppy or refund:
.... A. The defective dog must be owned by the original buyer.
.... B. The defective dog must not have been used for breeding.
.... C. The defective dog must be neutered/spayed or euthanized by the buyer's veterinarian and confirmed by the veterinarian in a letter stating that he has completed the procedure or the dog must be returned to the seller at the buyer's expense.
.... D. All registration papers must be returned to the seller.
.... E. Refund or exchange will be made at sellers discretion.
6. Any health disputes will be presented to the seller's veterinarian and decisions will be made on the veterinarian's opinion by the seller.
7. The seller will not be responsible for any shipping costs even when replacing a dog nor will the seller be responsible for the cost of surgery for a health related problem or any other medical expenses.
8. In the event that the buyer must give up the dog, the seller will assist in placement of the dog. At no time shall this dog be given to a Humane Society of Animal Shelter.
…. A. Buyer agrees to maintain this puppy/dog in good health, provide routine preventative health care including, but not limited to, inoculation, internal and external parasites, and - where indicated - heartworm preventative medication.
…. B. Buyer agrees Seller will REPOSSESS DOG OR BITCH UPON EVIDENCE OF NEGLECT AND/OR ABUSE at no expense to the seller.
9. The seller strongly recommends basic obedience training as a well behaved dog is a joy to live with and is appreciated by society!
Puppy Deposit
When a litter is born we take a deposit to hold your puppy until 9 weeks of age.
Once a deposit is received, it is non refundable as a puppy has been reserved for you. If you decide you don't want the puppy, or you get a puppy from another breeder, the deposit will not be returned. Deposits are only returned if we cannot offer you a puppy, i.e. there are not enough puppies in the litter. If you have any question about our deposit policy, please ask before you send a deposit. The deposit amount is half of purchase price with remaining balance due at puppy pick up and to be paid in cash.
